The Florida Department of Health in Duval County (DOH-Duval) has extended a health alert for the presence of harmful blue-green algae toxins in the St. Johns River. The alert is in response to a water sample taken on October 14, 2025. The public should exercise caution in and around St. Johns River near Mandarin Point.
