COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

Along with disease surveillance and investigations, our team supports community initiatives for high‑priority populations. Through our Hepatitis Program, we offer education, testing, immunizations, and treatment referrals. During outbreaks, our Epi Response team provides testing, prophylaxis, education and other services as applicable. From 2021–2025, our Protect, Promote, and Improve Health (PPI) Project advanced community initiatives that improved health across Duval County.
