The Center for Specialized Pulmonary Services is a full-service clinic with the goal of preventing the spread of tuberculosis (TB) in the community.
With compassion and professionalism, we provide medication, medical care, and routine follow-up appointments for clients who have active TB or have been identified as a contact to someone who does.
The Center for Specialized Pulmonary Services accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and other commercial insurance plans.
About Tuberculosis
Tuberculosis usually affects the lungs, however TB can also affect other parts of the body at the same time.
Services include:
- Adult and pediatric TB clinic for diagnosis and treatment
- Testing by IGRA (blood draw) or TST (skin test)
- Chest X-ray
- Sputum induction
- Directly observed therapy (DOT)
- Treatment guidelines/consultation for community providers
- HIV counseling and testing for TB patients
- TB educational materials
- In-service training
