In 2020 to 2021, the Florida Department of Health in Duval County:

  • Provided a total of 89,456 health-related visits.
  • Served a total of 42,240 clients.
  • Provided more than 32,500 Environmental Health Services.
  • Administered 30,005 COVID-19 vaccines.
  • Served 20,637 clients through the WIC program.*
  • Filled 17,250 prescriptions.
  • Wrote 9,526 health-based referrals through local schools.

  • Completed 3,001 face-to-face Healthy Start visits for infants.
  • Performed a total of 2,816 breast and/or cervical cancer screenings.
  • Investigated 1,946 reportable infectious diseases.
  • Provided 830 sexual health services to youth through local schools.
  • Treated 91% of STD cases within a two-week period.
