Florida Department of Health Issues Updates on Next Phase of Florida’s COVID-19 Response as State Surpasses 10 Million Floridians Vaccinated

Jacksonville, Fla.— As Florida surpasses more than 10.1 million Floridians vaccinated, COVID-19 vaccinations are being transitioned to a locally-led effort through primary care providers, retail and pharmacy locations, county health departments under the Florida Department of Health and local governments. As a part of this transition, the Florida Department of Health in Duval County will coordinate with local community providers to ensure vaccine access for all Floridians.
